Blyskawica 80th Anniversary
In 1942, the Polish naval ship ORP Blyskawica defended the town of Cowes against the Luftwaffe preventing what could have been a catastrophic event. This year, 2022, marks the 80th anniversaey of that event and the town celebrates its long lasting friendship with the Polish navy and the people of Poland.
